(North Canton, OH – Sept. 13, 2010) – Paul R. Feaser II has been named Stark State College’s vice president for development and executive director of the Stark State College Foundation. He will lead the College’s resource development, fundraising and government relations efforts as well as develop fundraising and support for the Foundation.
Feaser most recently served as vice president of major gifts at United Way of Greater Stark County.
A Jackson resident, Feaser graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served as an engineering officer and a special services and waterfront officer.
At Evans Baucom and Associates, he worked his way from sales trainee to vice president and general manager, then became part owner, vice president and general manager at A.E. Stocker’s. During his tenure at Diebold, Inc., Feaser held a number of titles, including sales engineer, regional sales manager, marketing manager, director of major accounts, product management and marketing manager, corporate security manager and senior director of corporate services, security and wellness.
Feaser is involved in many professional and civic organizations in the area, and has served in leadership capacities for the American Heart Association, the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges, the Cultural Center for the Arts, the Domestic Violence Project, American Society of Industrial Security, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the United Way,
He previously served as president of the Stark State College Foundation Board and also has been active in the Masonic Association of Canton, the 32nd Degree Masonic Learning Center, AASR Valley of Canton, the Stark Development Board, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Arts in Stark, Institute for Education and the Arts, Business Advisory Council and the McKinley Museum.
Feaser has been named volunteer of the year for the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges and the Domestic Violence Project, was named man of the year for the HOF security committee and received special commendation from the Ohio Senate as well as the United Way Gold Key award and the 33rd Degree AASR.
