2008 HAZWOPER DATES

• 40-Hour HAZWOPER Course (ENV221)
  • Twenty-four (24) hours of instructional hours are given with HAZWOPER on the Web
  • Sixteen (16) hours of hands-on activities given at Stark State College on:
    • Spring – Friday, April 18 (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and Saturday, April 19
      (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.);
    • Summer – Friday, July 11 (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and Saturday, July 12
      (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.); and
    • Fall – Friday, October 17 (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and Saturday, October 18
      (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
       
• 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher (ENV230)
  • Spring – Saturday, April 19 (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.);
  • Summer – Saturday, July 12 (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.); and
  • Fall – Saturday, October 18 (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

Tuition and fees for the 40-hour course are $312. Total cost for the 8-hour class is $192 for tuition and fees.

Returning students will pay $65 less, as they have already paid the one-time fees required when applying to the College. Students should register by March 14 for the Spring 2008 class, June 13 for the Summer 2008 class and September 19 for the Fall 2008 classes.
