Welcome to Stark State College of Technology's home page of the Beta Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa! Our chapter was chartered on January 21, 1996, and since that time has inducted 1205 members. Beginning with its inception in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa International has gained a worldwide membership of over 2 million. Since 2004, our chapter has achieved its 5-star status and has been awarded over 16 chapter/individual awards Regionally and/or Internationally. In 2005, 2007 and 2008, Beta Gamma Epsilon was named one of the top 100 chapters in the nation. At the Ohio Region Awards Convention in March, 2008, the chapter was named the Most Improved Chapter in the Ohio Region. All of this could not have been done without the support and dedication of the officer teams, the members, and the Stark State College campus community.
