Alumni Advisory Council members
Purpose
To provide input to the College on community higher
education needs from an alumni perspective
and to provide support for various College
initiatives and activities
To assist the College in continuing to enhance its image
in the community
To support College initiatives, activities and
fund-raising efforts.
To provide alumni with regular information about College
programs, activities and initiatives.
Membership
Members of the Alumni Advisory Council will be selected by the President,
the Vice President for Advancement, Planning and Community/College
Relations, and the Advancement and Fundraising Specialist based on their
leadership, professional achievements and community involvement.
Terms of
Office
Members of the Alumni Advisory Council will serve two- and/or three-year
terms.
Responsibilities/Duties
To attend two informational meetings each year. During
these meetings, the College President will
report ongoing Campus activities and initiatives
to the Council.
To provide input regarding community needs and to provide
input from the alumni perspective on
various issues, including the Colleges image.
To support College initiatives and fund-raising
activities, attend planning meetings and assist in
project implementation
To assist in the selection of a deserving inductee(s) for
the annual Alumni Hall of Fame,
which will be announced at Commencement
Foundation Ex Officio
Each year, a member of the Alumni Advisory Committee will be selected to
serve as a liaison to the Stark State Foundation to attend meetings and
report activity to the Council. |
