Full-time
Account Executive

Description: The account executive generates revenue equal to four (4) times base salary by selling or teaching customized courses to clients (companies and organizations). These courses are designed, developed and compiled based on data gathered via site visits, discussions with clients, research, and networking with peers and others. The account executive is further responsible to assign a qualified instructor to teach the course and then oversee all facets (proposal, contracts, materials, schedule, location, refreshments, equipment) of delivering the training. The account executive may deliver training by oneself if qualified to do so. The objective of the training is to enable clients to address their needs as identified during that data gathering stage. The account executive assesses the success of the training, makes recommendations and follows up with clients to identify any additional opportunities.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree. 3-5 years sales experience. The ability to research client needs and coordinate training programs (content and instructors) that meet client needs and are valued by clients. The ability to sell training programs and create records to maintain the sales database. The ability to manage all aspects of delivering a training class (contracts, materials, schedules, oversight, follow-up) and make improvements. The ability to work with peers, supervisors, clients and members of the community in a positive way to achieve the vision and mission of the College. The ability to work varying hours based on client needs.

Stark State College is committed to student access and success. Applicants must have the same commitment and value our mission and vision for the future.
