Director, E-Learning
Description:
Foster the growth of e-learning throughout the College, to
centralize e-learning (Web and synchronous) into a single area, to
facilitate the College’s growth in the number of total courses while
reducing the dependence on physical classroom space, to provide
consultation and support to faculty on the design and content of
online courses, to seek new sources of College revenues including
grants, to participate on collaborative distance learning projects
with faculty as well as other institutions and external
organizations, to provide faculty/student distance learning
instructional support, to meet the needs of internal and external
customers, and to supply the College’s needs for basic services
including ANGEL and synchronous training, support and system
administration.
Requirements:
Masters in Education with exposure to curricular and instructional
design, instructional technology and technical education. Experience
with ANGEL database administration, software problem solving, and
creation of policies and procedures that support E-Learning.
Teaching and course development skills at the College level with
experience in e-learning. Managing and organizational skills to
include communications, budgets and spreadsheets, project
management, grant development, and data analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and multimedia/E-Learning
development software.
