The administrator certificate for early childhood professionals is for those already employed in the early childhood field who are interested in becoming administrators in an early childhood setting. The program will provide individuals with a general overview of the administrative responsibilities needed to operate and supervise an early childhood program. A 210-hour practicum gives students an opportunity to apply administrative and leadership knowledge and skills while supervised by an experienced early childhood program administrator. The certificate may be applied to an associate degree in business, early childhood education or bachelor’s degrees in these fields or related fields.
