The business management entrepreneurship major is designed for those who want to learn more about opportunity recognition and evaluation and new venture start-up and growth. Students in this program will participate in courses and seminars staffed by faculty members as well as entrepreneurs and business owners/managers in the local community. Students will have opportunities to learn firsthand what is needed to start a new business venture that will add economic and cultural value to the community, and to run an existing business with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Stark State offers a one-year certificate program in entrepreneurship for non-degree-seeking students. Students may apply credits earned in this certificate program to the business management associate degree program. Students will be awarded a certificate in entrepreneurship upon completion of the courses listed.
