The education infant and toddler major prepares students for employment in educational/child care settings that provide services to infants and toddlers. Graduates may seek employment in child care, Early Head Start, or agencies that provide services to infants and toddlers and their family.
This major gives students knowledge and skills needed to meet the developmental needs of infants and toddlers, create responsive and safe environments, and develop secure and trusting relationships with children and families. The major not only addresses the needs of the children, but also supports successful parenting.
