  •  Distance Learning Courses Offered

“Distance education can help all Americans—including workers, parents, people in rural communities and people with disabilities—go to college by removing barriers of time and place through innovative technology.”

established in the late 1800s. However, because of the growth and acceptance of the Internet, the technological revolution in education has provided opportunities for distance education to take on a universal view.

Distance Learning and the Distance Learning Student
Distance learning provides the opportunity for students who may not have the proper means of education available to them. Via the Internet and developed course curriculum, students can access their own education at any time of the day or night. However, distance learning is not for everyone. The distance learning student must take responsibility for his/her own learning. Self-discipline, self-motivation, and self-direction are crucial for distance learning.
