About Microsoft Certified
Solution Developer (MCSD) Certification: The MCSD credential is one of the
most widely recognized certifications in the IT field credential in very
high demand. Certification tests measure knowledge of both Microsoft Office
and Microsoft Back Office applications. Typically, two years experience
with these products is required for certification success.
MCSD Certification is
appropriate for:
Software engineers
Web Developers
Software application engineers
Software developers
Technical consultants
In order to become an MCSD,
one must pass five tests. See a member of the Information Technologies faculty
to schedule courses that will lead you toward an MCSD.
NOTE: Passing
the MCSD courses at Stark State College does not guarantee the passing of
the MCSD exams. As with any exam, it is up to the student to prepare wisely
and spend many hours studying. We can guide you as closely as possible to
understanding the material on the exams and how to prepare for them.
Ultimately, it is up to you to meet the challenge and overcome it.
