designed to assist companies wishing to implement a quality
management system that is compliant with the requirements of ISO
9001:2000. For many of these programs, grant monies may be available

Root Cause Analysis
Understanding why an event occurred is the key to developing
effective corrective action. Learn the basic skills needed to
identify occurrences that produce or have the potential to produce
problems affecting safety, health, quality, reliability and
production. This 4 hour course can be presented at your site or the
college campus. Lecture materials and case studies are included.

Auditing ISO 14001 Environmental Management
Systems
Understand the basics of the ISO 14001 environmental management
system and how it is effectively audited. Learn about aspects that
interact with the environment and the impact they could have on your
organization. In addition, the course covers the basics of
implementing and maintaining an ISO 14001 Environmental Management
System.

Effective Process Auditing
The ISO 9001:2000 quality management system requires competent
internal auditors to focus on and improve the effectiveness of the
processes within their organization. This requires a combination of
communication, auditing and organizational skills. Students will

ISO
Users Group
This bi-monthly event welcomes anyone with an interest in ISO and
quality systems in general. We share refreshments and ideas and
learn from each other what is happening in the quality world. Often
the meetings are held at the sites of other users, thus affording an
opportunity to share a variety of quality system methods. Anyone is
welcome to attend these meetings.
