Stark State College offers Firefighter Level II certification course

The emergency fire services program at Stark State College is offering a 120-hour course that provides training, knowledge and skills required to become a state-certified firefighter trained at the Firefighter 1C–2 Level II. This course prepares students to take the State of Ohio test to become certified.

The course will be held Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, May 13 – July 24; 6 – 10 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sundays. Cost of the course is $635. A student must be certified as a Level I Firefighter to enroll in this course.
