Bob Ross – The Joy of Painting
You’ve seen him on TV and now you, too, can learn the Bob Ross method of oil painting. All you need is desire, a willingness to learn and practice. The Bob Ross philosophy is to make you happy while teaching you to paint. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish. At the end of the course you’ll have six finished paintings to display. Senior citizen discount not applicable.

Fabulous Felted Fibers
Felting is a process of taking layers of fleece fibers laid across each other using friction and a surfactant solution that amalgamates the fibers into fabric. We’ll be using alpaca fibers which are lighter, warmer and much softer than wool. In this class participants will learn two techniques: wet felting yielding the base scarf, and needle felting for embellishment. You’ll have a beautiful homemade alpaca scarf valued at nearly $120.

Drawing is an art and a skill that can be learned by anyone. In this course you’ll learn basic skills such as proportion, perspective, shading and composition, using a step-by-step approach. Don’t be intimidated - join us and learn to draw. A supply list (approximately $25) will be provided upon registration.

Chalk pastels are like combining drawing and painting, creating rich, colorful art on paper. You’ll learn how to use color, blending and composition to create your own “masterpiece.” A supply list (approximately $15) will be provided upon registration.
