Customizing the Appearance of Outlook 2007 |

By using the “View” menu and/or
the horizontal and vertical dividers, separating the columns, the Reading Pane,
Navigation Pane, and the To-Do bar can be resized, minimized, or removed to suit
an individual user’s needs. Note: Figure 1 shows the default layout of
Outlook 2007

To re-size the navigation pane:
• Position the cursor over the horizontal divider located
just above the navigational pane. (Figure 2)
• Drag the divider up or down to adjust the height of the
navigational pane. (Figure 3) |

Customizing reading pane, navigational pane, and to-do bar:
• Open the “View” Menu.
• Select the appropriate item that you would like to manipulate, i.e. navigation
pane (Figure 4), to-do
bar (Figure 5), or reading pane (Figure 6).
• Select how you would like the aforementioned item to be
displayed (Figures 4-6). |
