Custom animations allow you to specify how your different lines enter the
PowerPoint slide.
To animate your PowerPoint
presentation you need to click to the Animations tab and then click on
Custom Animation or you can select a preexisting animation from the Animate
menu (Figure 1).

To add animation to a line
click on the desired line and click on Add Effect (Figure 2).

Once you have added
animations for your lines you can use the Change Button to change
the animation of that line (Figure 3).

From the Custom
Animation Sidebar you can also change the speed, direction, and when
the animation should appear (Figure 4).

To set a time delay
on your lines by right clicks on the desired line and clicking
Timing
(Figure 5).

Then set a delay
timer to the desired length (Figure 6).

Automatic
Slide Progression will allow you automatically move from one slide to the next
without clicking.
To setup automatic
slide progression, you need to click on the Animations tab
(Figure 7).
Then check the
Automatic After box. Set how long PowerPoint will wait until it
changes the slides (Figure 8).

Slide
transitions allow you to customize the how your next slide will enter the
presentation.
To add slide
transitions to a slide, select the slide you wish to modify and
click on the Animations tab. Click on more for more transitions
(Figure 9).
It is also possible
to add sound effects and change the speed of the transition by
clicking on the Animations Tab and changing the settings. The Apply
To All button will apply all your transition settings to all your
slides (Figure 10).
