How Do I Log In to Banner Self Service? |

To log in to Banner Self Service you will need to have the following two items:
- StudentID Number – replaces
your social security number
- PIN - default PIN is your
six digit birthday (MMDDYY)
Note: Initially your
StudentID card is mailed to you. If you do not know your StudentID Number,
please contact Help Desk Services to obtain this information.
To log in to Banner Self Service,
enter your StudentID in the UserID box.
Note: The UserID field is case sensitive.
Enter your PIN in the PIN box.
Click the Login button (Figure 1).

Note: The first time you log in to Banner Self Service, you will be
prompted to change your PIN, to create a security question, and to create a
security question answer in order to recover your PIN in case you forget it.
Please follow the instructions below to setup your PIN and PIN recovery.
After successfully logging in
for the first time, a Login Verification Change PIN screen displays. This
screen displays a notification that your PIN has expired and prompts you to
change it. To change your PIN do the following (Figure 2):
- Enter in the old PIN in
the Re-enter Old PIN box
- Enter in the new PIN in
the New PIN box
- Reenter the new PIN
again in the Re-enter New PIN box
- Click the Login button

After successfully changing your PIN, a Login Verification Security
Question and Answer screen will display prompting you to enter a
security question and an answer to that question.
- In the Enter
Question box, type in the security question
- In the Answer box,
type in the answer to the security question
- Click the Submit
button (Figure 3)
Note: The answer
to the security question must not exceed 30 characters. It is
recommended to not use any special characters or spaces in order to
easily remember the answer to the security question.

After successfully
completing the security question and answer, a screen displays the
Main Menu (Figure 4) and you may continue.
