How Do I Register for Classes Using Banner
Self Service? |

To register for classes, you must
log in to the Banner Self Service system. Once logged into Self Service, click on
the Student and Financial Aid link (figure 1).

the Student and Financial Aid menu, click on the Registration link (figure 2).

At the Registration menu click on the Add or Drop Classes link (figure 3).

Select the term (i.e. Fall 2008) in which you wish to register from the drop
down menu and click the Submit button (figure 4).

Figure 4 You must
have the Course Resource Number (CRN) of the course to be able to register.
Please note that the CRN of each course is the equivalent to the Index Number.
If you do not know the CRN of a course, you may click on the Class Search button
to search for available classes, and to obtain the CRN for a course. Type the
CRN selections you wish to register for in the CRN boxes and click on the Submit
Changes button. One or more CRN numbers can be entered before clicking on the
Submit Changes button. After clicking on the Submit Changes button, the classes
will show in the current schedule (figure 5).

that if you are a first time student, you will not be able to
register on the mystarkstate portal. You
will have to go to the Registration Office in S308 to register.
A student who is a Web-only
student does not have to register in person. The student should contact the
Registrar at 330-494-6170, Ext. 4211. |
