How to Insert Page Number - Word 2007 |

To insert a Page Number into your
current working document, ensure that the Insert tab is selected and then click
the Page Number button (Figure 1).

Upon clicking the Page Number
button, you will be presented with a list of position locations
(Figure 2).

By selecting/highlighting the
desired location in which you would like to insert the Page Number, you will be
presented with Simple options to choose from (Figure 3).

Once you have chosen from the list
of Simple options, you can then format the page numbers by clicking the Page
Number icon on the menu bar and then select the Format Page Numbers…
(Figure 4). You can then select your Numbering format and you can also
select the Start at under the Paging numbering section. Once you have made the
necessary formatting changes, select the OK button.
