Windows XP Basics – How to Use Help and Support on Your PC |

When using Windows XP as your
operating system, Help and Support is loaded on your PC.
Windows Basics, as well as software guides are available to you for
reference. The user guides for CD-RW and DVD players are located here as well.

- To access these programs,
click on the Start button, click on Help and Support, (Figure 1). The Help and Support Center will
be displayed. Windows Basics is highlighted below (Figure 2)

Windows Basics provides easy to
follow directions for performing everyday tasks with WindowsXP. Browse through
the Core Windows Tasks selection (Figure 3) to see what
directions are available. You may customize your desktop, work with files and
folders, and learn how to search for information. Some of these directions
have been selected and saved under Windows Basics for you to view if you
do not have Help and Support loaded on your PC.
