User Accounts
All active students have several network accounts when they enroll for a
credited class at Stark State College. An active student is a one that is
registered for at least one credit in a term. All accounts use the same
CollegeID (user account name), and a combination of specific digits of your
social security number for the account passwords. Each student's CollegeID is
unique and permanently assigned to that student. The following table lists the
student accounts and the purpose of each:

Note:
All CollegeID and passwords should be lower case.
If more than one student has the same name and birth date then the
birth day number will be increased by one digit until a unique
CollegeID is reached. The table below lists examples and tips to use
when determining your CollegeID. |

Student Web
Access Account Information
Use your Student Web
Access account to gain interactive access to your personal information at Stark
State College. This is a secure site that is available to students from any
Web-enabled PC from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily.
Student Web Access Account
Information
You need your CollegeID and PIN to login and access your information.
Your CollegeID is determined
by using the first initial of your first name, your last name, your
two-digit birth month, and two-digit birthday. Please refer to the table
above for assistance.
Your default PIN number is the 4th –
7th digits of your social security number. When you login for the first
time, you must change your default PIN number. it is recommended that you
change your password to the last four digits of your social security number
or the last four digits of your phone number or something you will easily
remember.
If you forget your PIN,
contact SSCT Help Desk Services. Please
note that the PIN for Student Web Access is different from the PIN used in
the campus labs, student email, and E-Learning platforms. Refer to the table
above for which PIN to use with which account.

E-Learning
Students registered in a course that uses a Course Management
System (CMS) are provided with an E-Learning login account. This
account uses your username and password as described in the
above section on user accounts.
CMS’s have their own email feature that may be used in a course.

Labs
All
students who are registered for at least one credit in a term
are provided an Academic Network account for use in all our
campus labs including all pubic labs. Refer to the above section
on user accounts for login

Email
All
students who are registered for at least one credit in an
academic year are provided a College email account for that
academic year. Your email address is your CollegeID@starkstate.net
and uses the same password as your Academic Network account.
