What type of student activities are available to me at the College?
Student Life at Stark State College promotes, encourages and supports student activities and initiatives to provide its diverse students with the “total college experience." Through 29 different student organizations, Student Government Association, honor societies, and service projects, students will develop valuable skills, become more engaged and have an opportunity to meet and build friendships with others. Leadership development is another area where Stark State created exciting opportunities for student involvement: the Emerging Leaders Retreat and Student Leadership Academy (with Kent State Stark) offer two such pathways. We believe that getting you engaged in our Student Life programs is a valuable experience. It will help you understand that learning occurs outside the classroom as well as increase your sense of belonging to our College community.
