- Earn high school and college credit at the same time
- Attend these classes in the morning at the Stark State College main campus and then return to the high school for the remainder of the school day
- Should ask their high school guidance counselors for more information
Criteria for selection into Stark State’s dual enrollment honors program
- Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher
- Referrals from a high school guidance counselor and Advanced Placement (AP) teacher
- Passing scores for the COMPASS college placement test
- Attendance at a parent/student program information session
- Submission of a Dual Enrollment application to the high school guidance counselor
- Valid driver’s license or alternate transportation between Stark State’s main campus and the high school
- High school seniors but juniors considered if space is available
