Preparing educators and human services professionals to serve a complex and changing society is the goal of the Education and Human Services Division. The division encourages critical thinking, a skill that is vital to educating our society and to dealing with societal needs.

The division offers programs in criminal justice, law enforcement, early childhood education and leadership, education intervention, American sign language, human and social services, and gerontology.

Stark State’s goal is to attract traditional and nontraditional students to careers in these areas and to provide the quality education, training, skills and values necessary for our students to succeed and excel in the education and human services fields.
