Are you prepared for E-Learning?
Is a Web Course for Me?
Web courses offer students anytime, anywhere access to course materials.
However, the class schedule does mirror a traditional class including start and
end dates. Web students may also be required to put more time into a course than
in a traditional course; depending on computer, reading and writing skills.
To be successful in Web courses,
students should be self-motivated and able to schedule and manage time
effectively. They must have access to a computer with internet access. Most Web
courses can be completed without a high speed internet connection, with the
exception of some IT and engineering courses, as long as the student plans for
the time it will take to upload and download some course materials.
Students must be capable of using computers and
the Web for fundamental activities such as email and research. Take our
