Getting Connected - Internet Access
Stark State College provides several wireless internet hotspots for students,
faculty, staff, and visitors to our campus. Please see the table below for the
location of these areas.
Do you need wired access?
The Cyber Cafe provides wired access on all tabletops. All you need is your own
network cable and you are ready to plug-in.

network.
Off-Campus
Access
If you are off campus,
you must provide your own Internet Service Provider (ISP). Internet service can
be provided in three ways:
- A dial-up modem connected
through your phone line with an ISP such as AOL
- A high-speed cable modem
connected to your cable service such as RoadRunner or Massillon Cable’s
SuperNet
- A high-speed Digital
Subscriber Line (DSL) over your telephone line which does not interfere with
your voice service such as AT&T Yahoo! DSL
