(North Canton, OH – Aug. 7, 2012) – Students preparing totake college entrance exams will benefit from the ACT prep class offered by Stark State College.
Classes will be held on Wednesdays, Sept. 19 – Oct. 24 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. at Stark State’s Corporate Services and Continuing Education Center in the Hoover District, 265 E. Maple St. North Canton. Pamela Long-Rice, counselor at Copley High School, and Chip Rankin, instructor at Lake High School, will be the instructors.
Classes also will be offered Saturdays, Sept. 15 – Oct. 20 from 9-11:30 a.m. at GlenOak High School, 1801 Schneider St. NE, Canton with GlenOak instructor Melissa Ebel.
This course helps students develop strategies for taking any standardized test, and information specific to the ACT will be discussed. Out-of-class assignments will be given.
The cost is $199 and includes extensive study and pre- and post-test materials.
