(North Canton, OH – Feb. 4, 2013) – Students preparing to take college entrance exams will benefit from the ACT prep class offered by Stark State College.
Classes are offered Saturdays, Feb. 16 - March 23 from 9-11:30 a.m. at GlenOak High School, 1801 Schneider St. NE, Canton with GlenOak instructor Melissa Ebel.
Classes will also be held on Wednesdays, March 6 – April 10 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. at Stark State’s Corporate Services and Continuing Education Center in the Hoover District, 265 E. Maple St. North Canton. Pamela Long-Rice, former counselor at Copley High School, and Chip Rankin, a former teacher at Lake High School, will be the instructors.
This course helps students develop strategies for taking any standardized test, and information specific to the ACT will be discussed. Out-of-class assignments will be given.
The cost is $199 and includes extensive study and pre- and post-test materials.
