(North Canton, OH – April 30, 2012) – Natalie Tucker, a freshman in Stark State College’s medical assisting program, won the Mary Buckley Scholarship from the Ohio State Society of Medical Assistants (OSSMA). The Louisville resident received the $1,000 award at a recent president’s luncheon during the OSSMA state conference in Lima.
Stark State College’s medical assisting program has been granted the maximum 10-year accreditation by the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAER). The MAER is an autonomous unit within the American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment that completes program reviews based on standards and guidelines of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
