Stark State’s new 80-ton pedestrian bridge over Mega Street was hoisted into place Monday, July 2. The new 160-foot structure joins the 660-space student parking lot on the north side of Mega to the second floor of the North Academic Building. The climate-controlled walkway can be accessed via a tower with a stairwell, elevator and mechanical room. Plans call for the $1.1 million project to be finished by November. Our students cross Mega-Frank intersection more than 2,000 times a day!
