(North Canton, OH – Feb. 15, 2013) – The painting style of the late PBS painter Bob Ross will be featured in a noncredit course from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturdays, March 16 – April 27 (no class March 30) at Stark State College’s Corporate Services and Continuing Education Center in the Hoover District, 265 E. Maple St., North Canton.
eFor many years, Ross hosted the hit public television show The Joy of Painting. Students in this course will learn Ross’ method and will complete a different painting each class. The course will also help experienced Bob Ross painters develop their skills. The class will be taught by Mary Kenney, a certified Bob Ross instructor.
The course fee is $189. A materials list will be sent upon registration; materials are available at Cook’s Art Supply in North Canton.
