(North Canton, OH – Oct. 1, 2012) – Whether leasing land or eyeing a job in the industry, Stark County-area residents are affected by shale gas development. Stark State College will offer a one-day course that explains the geology, leasing, drilling, production, well completion and workforce opportunities of the Marcellus and Utica shale.
With new information for natural gas industry veterans and novices alike, the class will be held Nov. 8 from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Stark State Corporate Services and Continuing Education Center in the Hoover District of North Canton. Penn State University and Pennsylvania College of Technology will present the course.
