(North Canton, OH – Jan. 18, 2013) – In the first round of scholarship funding for health sciences students, 136 Stark State students received $204,000 in Choose Ohio First Program of Innovation dollars.
Students in eight health sciences programs earned $1,500 each for the current school year.

The Choose Ohio First scholarship program is part of the state’s strategic effort to significantly strengthen Ohio’s competitiveness within STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, math) and STEM education.
