Pharmacy Technician Training Program
This course is designed to prepare individuals who want to enter the pharmacy field in hospitals, home infusion pharmacies or retail pharmacies under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. When you complete this course you may register to take the pharmacy technician certification exam to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Key topics are: medical terminology, reading and interpreting prescriptions; generic and brand names for drugs; dosage calculations and dose conversions; dispensing of prescriptions, unit doses and inventory control.
