Enhanced Membership Program

The Enhanced Membership Program is a voluntary program that recognizes actively participating members with an established system of incentives and rewards. Enhanced Membership emphasizes that participation is not a requirement of membership. But rather, participation is a way to gain valuable scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship skills that can be used throughout life.

Enhanced Membership Program provides the standard membership benefits as provided by Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters with additional recognition from the chapter for participation in chapter activities. Members who choose this option agree to commit to a specific amount of activity, such as attending meetings or Honors Study Topic programs, assisting with fundraising, etc., as set forth by the chapter.

The Beta Gamma Epsilon Chapter has chosen to structure their Enhanced Membership using the Five Star Chapter Development Program as a guide. This model allows members to work through five "star" levels of enhancements, each requiring different levels of participation and offering various levels of reward. By offering various levels of involvement, the Enhanced Membership Program allows members the flexibility to set their own goals and to receive special recognition for the achievement of those goals.
