Lorah Bailey
Hello, my name is Lorah Bailey. I took
my first class at Stark State last January, after many years of longing to go
back to school and being afraid that I was just too old. I attend part time and
I absolutely love it. I am very honored to be a Phi Theta Kappa member. I am in
pre- Nursing now and plan to take the PAX test next spring. I have worked as a
sub for the Post Office as a rural mail carrier for 3 years. My husband, who
works in the Post Office also, and I have been married for (gasp) almost 20
years and we have 3 typical teenagers. My oldest daughter is starting her
first semester here at Stark, also in pre-Nursing. When I left for my first
meeting, I promised her that I wouldn't take on too much... I don't know why I
made the rash decision to run for office, but I am glad that I did and I am
looking forward to doing everything that I can to help the chapter and to show
my appreciation for being elected.
