Stark State College acknowledges,
respects and values differences among its students. The Office of Multicultural
Student Affairs has been created to provide services to students of various
ethnic and cultural backgrounds to enhance each student’s campus experience. The
Office is designed to serve in the following capacities:
- A resource and support
center for students from underrepresented groups;
- An active participant in the
recruitment of students from various backgrounds to more accurately reflect
the demographic make-up of the larger community that the College serves;
- A provider of services
designed to assist students in matriculation and persistence throughout the
entire College experience from application to graduation;
- A promoter of cultural
understanding across the College community.
