You’re always thinking about your children’s future, so it’s reassuring to know they have a head start on their college education through Ohio’s College Credit Plus program at Stark State College.
They’ve earned anywhere from a few college courses to more than a year’s worth of college credit during high school, reducing the time they need to get to a college degree – and slashing your family’s higher education costs.
So that more students and families have the opportunity to save on college costs, students entering grades 7-12 in the fall now can also enroll in a summer term. Like all College Credit Plus programs, it’s free for students.
Stark State staff will be available to advise and assist students during a summer registration day set for April 25, 2016 from 3 – 6:30 p.m. in the new Gateway Center, 6200 Frank Ave. NW in Jackson Township.
Your student should
- If students are unable to attend the April 25 registration day, to take summer classes, they may contact the Admissions Office to schedule an individual appointment to schedule summer classes.
- have the guidance counselor sign a permission form for on-campus College Credit Plus, choosing the appropriate course(s).
- bring the form to the April 25 registration day.
If you have questions, contact Stark State’s College Credit Plus office at 330-494-6170, Ext. 4198 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’re looking forward to helping your student expand their options for the future while saving your family college dollars.
