Stark State College offers express enrollment

(North Canton, OH – Dec. 30, 2015) – Stark State College is making it easier for prospective students to get enrollment done in a day.

The Express Enrollment Days set for Jan. 9 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. will allow students to talk to admissions counselors, get financial aid advice, take admission tests and enjoy refreshments (admission tests must be started by 11 a.m.).

Students need to bring high school (and, if applicable, college) transcripts along with their 2014 income tax return (and parents’ return if a dependent).

Stark State College sets fall commencement

Angela Adkins(North Canton, OH – Dec. 28, 2015) – Angela Adkins, assistant professor of sociology and the Stark State College’s 2015 Distinguished Teacher, will be the speaker at commencement ceremonies set for 2 p.m. Jan. 10 in the Canton Memorial Civic Center.

Adkins’ address is titled “What Comes Next.”

Marisa Rohn named executive director of advancement, marketing and the Stark State College Foundation

Marisa Rohn(North Canton, OH – December 8, 2015) – Marisa Rohn, current director of marketing and communications at Stark State College, has been named executive director of advancement, marketing and the Stark State College Foundation. Rohn will transition into her new role on December 18, when Joanne Lally Eberhart, current executive director of advancement and the Stark State College Foundation, retires.
