(North Canton, OH – Jan. 19, 2016) – Stark State College has announced the fall 2015 president’s list and dean’s list.
To be eligible for the president’s list, students must earn a 4.0 GPA during the semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a 3.5 GPA for the semester.
Full-time students are those who have completed 12 or more credit hours during the semester while part-time students are those who have earned at least six but fewer than 12 credit hours for the semester.

(North Canton, OH – Jan. 4, 2016) – Stark State College has received a $79,300 to help students cover emergency expenses and stay in school.
The Dash Emergency Grant from Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation is designed to help prevent students with significant financial need from dropping out of college when faced with unexpected expenses, such as a car repair or medical bill. Students apply directly to the College and expenses are paid within 48 hours of the approved application.
