This course is designed for dental assistants who are interested in reviewing for the clinical portion of the Ohio Dental Assisting Certification exam (CODA). This review course allows dental assistants studying for the state certification exam a face-to-face experience that includes review and clinical practice in the techniques of various assisting duties including: types of dental materials, radiography exposure/mounting, instrument identification, and practical patient management skills necessary for the CODA exam. No textbook is required, and supplemental review and reference textbooks for the Dental Assisting Certification exam will be discussed. Lunch will be provided.
