Ponder, owner and CEO of Ponder Systems Media and Marketing, will focus on the evolution of the civil rights struggle and the next steps during his talk Feb. 20 at noon, also in room M101.

The College also will host slam poetry competitions in February, featuring poets who read their works without props, costumes or music. The main campus event is set for 2 p.m. Feb. 28 in M101 with a similar contest at Stark State College Akron at 360 Perkins St. at 2 p.m. on Feb. 21.
