Community invited to hear April speakers at Stark State College

(North Canton, OH – April 2, 2019) –  The public is invited to hear two guest speakers at Stark State College during April.

On April 9, Tracy L. Glaser-Bacon will address bullying and harassment in the LGBT community. Glaser-Bacon, a pastor in the United Church of Christ and an Aftercare advocate, will speak at 11 a.m.  in M101 of the Business and Entrepreneurial Center.

April 11, Monique Cox-Moore, director of community engagement and initiatives for the Ohio Secretary of State, will focus on the theme “teamwork makes the dream work.” A Canton resident, she has become known as a team player with a positive attitude in her leadership roles throughout served Stark County. Her presentation begins at 10 a.m., also in M101.

Stark State is located at 6200 Frank Ave. NW, North Canton.
