Inspired by fantasy works and influenced by comic book art, Eric Kemphfer merges these styles using digital techniques alongside traditional pencils and ink. His work is being showcased through Jan. 29 in the Stark State College gallery on the second floor of the Student Center, 6200 Frank Ave. NW, North Canton.
Kemphfer, who earned a bachelor of arts degree in studio art from Kent State University, has both internationally published and personal works on display. To see more of his work: EricKemphfer.com.
The public is invited to an artist’s reception Jan. 24 from 6-7:30 p.m.
All art is available for purchase with 25 percent of the proceeds going to the College’s aesthetics fund for the purchase of artwork for the campus.
The gallery is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
