(North Canton, OH – March 15, 2021) – Members of the high school Class of ’21 are eligible for an entire semester of free tuition this fall at Stark State College.
The offer applies to any major for an unlimited number of credit hours, online or on campus.
“Stark State College wants to ensure that every single high school graduate in the region we serve sees and seizes the opportunity to attend college this fall,” said Para M. Jones, Ph.D., Stark State president. “We know many of our families are struggling and that high school graduates may think they cannot attend college. We want them to know they can attend college this fall, tuition-free at Stark State.”
After fall semester, students can continue on for a certificate or associate degree at Stark State, which has the lowest tuition in the area, and/or transfer to any four-year college or university.
“Every student,” Jones said, “can earn a quality education with small class sizes, caring professors and the high-quality associate degrees that lead to rewarding careers and/or bachelor’s degrees at Stark State’s many partner universities in our region and state.”
The initiative is funded by the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act – Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund II.
