(North Canton, OH – April 30, 2021) – Stark State College Akron will host information nights in May about training and careers in a number of programs.
Medical technologies will be in the spotlight on May 11 at 5 p.m. Those programs include
- medical assisting
- medical billing
- medical coding
- ophthalmic technology
- health information management
Some programs are fully completable at Stark State Akron.
Human and public services programs will be featured May 18 at 5 p.m., including
- human and social services
- chemical dependency
- community corrections
- criminal justice
- law enforcement
All these programs can be completed at Stark State Akron, with the exception of law enforcement, which will finish at the training facility in North Canton.
The Spotlight Nights will include an overview of programs, conversations with professors, lab and classroom tours and question-and-answer sessions on financial aid and admissions processes.
Both events will be held at Stark State College Akron, 360 Perkins St., but space is limited due to COVID precautions (no guests, please).
