Stark State College open houses set for Nov. 3, 10

(North Canton, OH – Oct. 20, 2022) – Prospective students are invited to Stark State College’s open houses, set for 5-7 p.m. Nov. 3 at Stark State College Akron, 360 Perkins St. and Nov. 10 on main campus at 6200 Frank Ave. NW, North Canton.

Participants will learn about the admissions process, talk with professors about more than 230 degrees and certificates, learn about student services and resources, take a tour and get a free T-shirt.

Financial aid staff also will be on hand to help students and parents look at financial aid and scholarship opportunities and help with FAFSA applications.

High school seniors and GED completers who graduate in 2023 receive free tuition next fall for an unlimited number of credit hours.

Stark State College recently opened a new, state-of-the-art Welding and Joining Center to serve our community's need for highly trained welding professionals.
