(North Canton, OH – July 29, 2022) Prospective students are invited to Stark State College’s Akron open house from 5-7 p.m. on Aug. 10 at 360 Perkins St.

Students and their guests can

• learn about the admissions process
• get financial aid details
• talk with professors about degrees and certificates
• learn about student services and resources
• take a tour.

Plus, students can explore the College’s new Welding and Joining Center – 7,500 square feet with 17 welding booths for training that prepares students for American Welding Society certifications and is consistently in high demand with employers.

Additionally, free fall tuition is in effect for all 2022 high school graduates and GED completers.
Fall classes begin Aug. 29.
