Stark State College sets free college exam prep workshops

(North Canton, OH – April 5, 2019) –  Stark State College is offering free college entrance exam preparation workshops to help students study for the ACCUPLACER exam, a computer-based placement test.

The exam tests a student’s knowledge in math, reading and writing, identifying strengths and needs in each subject area. Stark State students are required to take the ACCUPLACER exam unless they have taken the ACT college exam.

Workshop sessions are held on main campus, 6200 Frank Ave. NW, North Canton.

April 10: 4-7 p.m., room B111
April 17: 4-7 p.m., room M101
April 27: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., room S204

The workshops are led by professional instructors who thoroughly explain each section of the ACCUPLACER test and the accompanying computer skills exam.
