Students can learn how they can spend less and earn more during Stark State College’s October open houses.
On main campus, the event is set for Oct. 4 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in M100 of the Business and Entrepreneurial Center at 6200 Frank Ave. NW in Jackson Township.
On Oct. 10, also from 5:30-7:30 p.m., students can visit Stark State College Akron at 360 Perkins St.
Professors will highlight many of the academic areas among the hundreds of associate degrees and certificates the College offers. Students and their families also can watch live demonstrations, speak with admissions reps, take tours and enjoy refreshments.
Financial aid staff will be on hand to help students and parents look at financial aid and scholarship opportunities and help with FAFSA applications.
Spring semester classes begin Jan. 14.
